Lamberton Conservatory

Annie and Ethan

A Lamberton Conservatory Wedding

In the midst of the huge ferns and little turtles of the botanical garden, Annie and Ethan married. You would never guess that it was actually a cold and blustery spring day out. Inside the Lamberton Conservatory here in Rochester, NY, it was warm and cozy… perfect if you are wanting a small venue for an intimate wedding or elopement. Just make sure your photographer’s lens doesn’t fog up in the tropical room… I may or may not know from experience.

(Also, If you are looking for other small, intimate wedding venues around Rochester, check out my venue guide!)

Held later in the afternoon, it was the perfect time for their ceremony. With the Conservatory closing at 4 pm, Annie and Ethan were able to have the venue to themselves and their closest friends and family. (Parking along the street is also better at that time as the crowds tend to disperse, freeing up space.) After they gathered in front of the small bridge under the middle atrium and said their I do’s.

Following their ceremony, it was a short walk across the street to the Olmsted Lodge where Annie and Ethan made everyone dinner and cocktails.
